Groundcover Leather Company

Map Reference 137

Groundcover has become legendary on the Meander. Justin's life passion for the craft has evolved a culture of pride in workmanship which is evident in the quality of our products. Come fit our new ComfortZone footware range.

In our restored settler's cottage you will discover a range of finely crafted leather products

  • Boots
  • Shoes
  • Sandals
  • Briefcases
  • Rucksacks
  • Travel Bags
  • Handbags

We also carry Conservation Trust bush clothing and Birdman foundry bronze belt buckles.

Opened in 1994, our showroom is a restored iron and wood farmhouse prefabricated in England 100 years ago. Set in beautiful surroundings and superb mountain views, it offers much more than a fine shopping experience. On permanent exhibition on the front lawn is local artist Abbo Hall's exquisite bronze sculpture of Grimm's 'The Elves and the Shoemaker'. The unhurried visitor may also choose to have a picnic on the grounds, or hike around Groundcover's 160- hectare farm.

Open daily 8:30am-5pm.
