Orangewood is situated on the banks of Albert Falls Dam, just outside Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal. The Lodge is nestled in a large indigenous garden with an abundance of birdlife and is surrounded by orange groves and sugarcane.

Albert Falls dam is a major attraction for water skiing, fishing, canoeing, birding, game viewing and walking. Mountain biking is also a popular weekend sport.
We have a lovely picnic facility by the water, shaded by large trees where you can spend a restful afternoon. There is ample parking available.
We offer comfortable self catering accommodation for up to 10 people.
The double volume open plan lounge and dining room has wooden floors and there is a fireplace in the lounge. Concertina doors open up onto the large verandah where there is ample seating to take in the stunning panoramic views.
The pub also leads onto the verandah and outside braai facility. The pub has a TV and bar fridge. A weber is also provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, microwave, fridge and chest freezer and all crockery and cutlery.
The lodge is serviced daily and all linen is provided except for swimming towels.
The large garden is surrounded by an electric fence and has an electric access gate.
