Description

This small museum is well worth a visit and has fascinating displays on the history of farming in the area, the early inhabitants, a reconstructed Zulu beehive kraal, gallery of San paintings as well as displays on the Boer war battles of Spioenkop and Vaalkrans. It also features a blacksmith shop, several farming implements and dispose of the famous Weston caravan in which the Weston family embarked on their epic trans-Africa trip en-route to Europe in 1927. Opening times Monday-Friday 8am - 3pm, sat 9 - 12 , Sundays and public holidays open by appointment.
