Wild Fig Cottage is a fully equipped self-catering holiday home for up to 6 people, in the quiet seaside resort town of Salt Rock on the Dolphin Coast of KwaZulu Natal.
Situated in a quiet leafy garden in an elevated position one looks out into Natal Mahogany and Wild Fig trees and can see abundant bird life, bush babies, fruit bats and monkeys.
The cottage sleeps up to 5 people in two bedrooms each with double bed and lounge where there is a sleeper couch for the fifth person. A fully equipped kitchen contains amongst other things a dishwasher, stove and microwave oven with a portable braai on the deck for those outdoor meals.
There is a TV with DSTV. Bring your own towels and beach towels unless you are overseas visitors
Property is gated and undercover parking is provided.
From airpotrt head north on N2, Pass through the Toll gate and continue north, passing the ballito, then Shaka Head Turnoffs but taking the third next turn off to Umhlali/Salt Rock turn off. On top of bridge turn right toward the sea and continue pass the Tiffany's Shopping Centre, the Sheffield beach Turnoff, the turnoff into Dunkirk Estate and the next turn off after that is Hugh Dent Drive, which you take and continue down toward the beach and in the dip the road veers left up the hill. First turn left as you climb is Robbins Road and we are No 17 on the right.
